Allocating User Scanning Access

Your Cavewire Product Workflow allows you to give scanning access to all of your users or only allow some to access particular tracking route actions.

Different users may only be required to move products through particular stages in your Product Workflow.

To update permissions for different stages in Production you need to update user authorisation within the Production Routes.

To do this you can go into the Control Menu -> Configure Routes.

Control -> Configure Routes

On this page you can see the routes that determine your production line.

Select the Route you want to edit.

Find the Authorised Roles section. You can select the roles that you want to give access to scanning to. Anyone that is in the highlighted roles will be able to scan this stage of production.

Find the Authorised Users section. You can also select individual users that you want to give access to scanning to. Anyone user that is highlighted will be able to scan this stage of production.

If there are no roles and no users selected, everyone will be able to scan this stage of production. 

In this example, any user in the storeadmin role will have access as well as the users John Demo and Luke Demo.
