How to add a Landing Page

This article will show the steps for creating a new page on your Cavewire site.

Step 1.

Navigate to the Pages section by selecting CMS->Pages from the Menu. This section lists all of the content pages on your Cavewire front-end website. From this page, you can Preview and Quick Find details such as your page URL key and Title.

You can either edit an existing page or select Add New Page using the button to the top right.

Step 2. Page Information Tab

Fill out the details of your new page including Title, URL key and select Enable/Disable to make the page live or inactive depending on when you want front end users to access it.

Step 3. Content Tab

Enter the content you want to appear on your page.

Depending on your front end design styling, you can use the Content Heading section, the Content Section or upload a Banner image to display on your page.

You can also select the HIDE/SHOW editor button to switch between using basic html code or using the style editor to create your page.

Step 4. Design Tab

Depending on your level of web design experience, in here you can customise how individual pages look.

You can select layout options to change how items in your content block are displayed on your front end website. Further styling may be necessary and this outcomes from this page are determined by individual website styles and themes.

Step 5. Meta Data Tab

On this tab you are able to enter in Meta Keywords as well as a Meta Description for your page.

Meta Data is added to the header tags of your webpage and help search engines understand what your web page is about.
