Adding A Facebook Ad Pixel

This how to guide will show how to add your Facebook Ad Pixel to your Cavewire website.

Please Note: you will be required to have your Facebook Business Account correctly configured including having an active Facebook Pixel assigned to a Facebook Ad Account. For more information on this contact Facebook or view their how-to guides. Create a Pixel in Facebook Business Manager.

Step 1.

Select Facebook Ads Extension from the Admin Screen. 

Step 2.

Select Manage Settings

Step 3.

Login to your linked Facebook Account. You will be required to have access to the Facebook Ad pixel in order to set this up. Please confirm with Facebook how to do this.

Step 4.

Select the Page you want to connect to.

Step 5.

Select your connected Facebook Ad Pixel

Step 6.

Confirm Data is synced

Step 7.

Select Finish. Your facebook ad pixel will now appear in your Website Header code.

To check this you can:

1. Navigate to your website

2. Right-click on the page and select View Source Code

3. Search for Facebook to find the Facebook Ad Pixel section in your page's header code.
