Category Sort Order

This article will show the steps needed to update the order products appear in your Category.

Step 1.

Navigate to the Categories page by selecting Catalog->Manage Categories from the Admin Navigation menu.

Step 2.

Select the category that you want to update the order of your products in.

Step 3.

Select the Category Products tab to display the products within your category.

Step 4.

Update the Sort order to reflect the order you want your products to appear in. NB. The lower the number, the higher the product priority. eg. Sort Order 1 will appear before Sort Order 2.
