Set Catalog View to Grid/List

Cavewire has the ability to set your category view as either a Grid or a List.

Depending on the Cavewire Theme you have installed, you may have your Category defaulted to either List view or Grid view when users land on your category.

To adjust these settings follow the steps below.

Step 1.

Navigate to your Configuration Settings by selecting System->Configuration in the admin menu.

Step 2.

Using the left hand-navigation, select the Catalog->Catalog page.

Step 3.

On this page open the FrontEnd section and toggle the List Mode field to be one of the following based on your preference:

• List Only
• Grid Only
• Grid (default) / List
• List (default / Grid

Step 4.

Select Save Config to enable new settings

The above steps will universally default all of your categories to display this way. You can also set grid/list category view defaults per category.
