Cavewire's production tracking and manufacturing module allows you to track products moving through your production system.
To View your current tracking stages or add new tracking stages, navigate to the Control->Specify Stages page.
Example Tracking Stages
When setting up a Tracking Stage you will need to fill out the following fields:
|Title||Name of the Stage|
|Tracking Station||The Station that the stage is in|
|Station Type||None, Internal Workshop, Internal Supplier|
|Status||Enabled / Disabled|
This is filterable on the control screen and visible for tracking reports
Typically this will be one of Production, Distribution, Archive. By default, items in Archive will not show up on the Control screen unless filtered by Archive.
The two main options to choose from are Internal Workshop and Internal Supplier.
- Internal Workshop means that products in this are currently under production and not available to sell across your sales channels
- Internal Supplier means that products in this stage are ready and available to be allocated if allocated to the stock account
You can enable or disable this depending on whether or not you want products sold when in this stage. If a stage, for example,
This is an item under development for multiple warehousing - currently your default Warehouse will be the warehouse for all stages.
