Automated Emailing of Special Reports

Special Reports are a handy way to extract the specific information you need to support your business processes. These reports are tailor made by the Cavewire development team to present meaningful data that can be exported as a csv file.

The data can help to make decisions about new product lines and manufacturing volumes. It can also be imported into third party applications that accept CSV files such as Shopify, Vend, Brandscope, TradeGecko, Cin7 and more.

Cavewire supports the ability to automatically email the CSV export of special reports on a schedule. This helps to easily distribute the information across global teams and serves as a handy reminder if a periodic import of the data is required.

Follow the below steps to receive automated scheduled emails for any of your special reports. 

Step 1.
Access your special reports list:

Click edit on any special report to open the report. 

Step 3.
Here you can Enable Export Email, set your Export Email Addresses, Export Frequency and Export Time of day.

Note, new scheduled email reports will be generated starting the following day. 

The options are:

• Hourly
• Daily
• Weekly (on day of the week)
• Monthly (on day of the month)
