This guide will provide an overview of common settings to check if you are not receiving emails generated from Cavewire. For this example, we will use the "FORGOT LOGIN DETAILS?" flow.
Firstly, the email address used to reset the password must be associated to a user already in the system. For security reasons, the response will not tell you if the email is registered to a user or not. If you don't receive an email, you can contact the Cavewire support team to ask them to check if you are using the correct email address for your user. A common mistake is that an old email address is used which is not the one linked to the user.
Secondly, these are the configurations that must be defined:
System->Configuration->Advanced->System
Disable Email Communication = No
System->Configuration->Advanced->Admin
Forgot Password Email Sender = Custom Email 2 (it can be any contact you want to set)
System->Configuration->General->Store Email Addresses
The domain of the sender email should be Cavewire to ensure that the email is verified.
